Cotswold Taste, the cooperative organisation that celebrates and promotes the food and drink sector in the the Cotswolds and nearby, is holding its first face to face networking event on Friday May 20.
Cotswold Taste Networking will be hosted at the Queens Hotel in Cheltenham from 5pm to 6.3opm and is free to attend for up to 50 people. Food and drink producers will also be able to showcase their products for free.
Guest speaker for the evening is Tim Fussell of Fussels Fine Foods, based in Frome in Somerset, which is a specialist producer of locally-grown cold-pressed rape seed products.
Cotswold Taste was delighted to attend The Gloucestershire Foodie Awards, sponsored by Visit Gloucestershire, launched with an evening event at the Long Table in Stroud, Gloucestershire, on Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
The evening, attended by a diverse range of food, drink, and hospitality businesses, with some incredible stories, was a relaxed evening of conversation, business, and community. Maisie, Head Chef at The Long Table, produced an excellent Dahl, pickles and delicious bread baked in house, and with no seating plan, all the attendees sat down at long tables and began to chat.

Cotswold Taste is delighted to announce that the Foodie Awards launches the Gloucestershire Foodie Awards.
With the support and backing of Visit Gloucestershire, the 2022 Gloucestershire Foodie Awards aims to celebrate the food, drinks, event makers, creators, and providers of local, regional food, drinks, and hospitality experiences within Gloucestershire, from the Cotswolds to Cinderford, Tewkesbury to Stroud.
The awards will launch on Tuesday 26th April 2022, 5 to 7 pm, with an event at the Long Table in Stroud. The team at the Long Table is seeking to change the world through food. Set-up almost four years ago in asking, ‘what if everyone in Brimscombe had access to great food and people to eat it with?’ The team now runs a community interest company in Stroud. Read more

Cotswold Taste, the co-operative organisation supporting food and drink producers in and around the Cotswolds, has teamed up with the world’s largest food waste app, Too Good To Go.
Any food or drink member of Cotswold Taste which routinely has surplus stock can sign up to the app – which aims to reduce food waste – and they will not have to pay an admin fee for the first year. It’s one of many benefits the new board of Cotswold Taste is bringing on stream for co-operative members.
