Online and direct retail routes to market offer lifelines to Cotswold Taste members
MEDIA RELEASE – Monday 22nd June 2020: Emergency measures designed to counter devastating losses caused by the Coronavirus lockdown have led to new avenues for food and drink companies in the Cotswolds.
Members of co-operative Cotswold Taste have been forced to rethink their business strategies following the temporary closure of pubs and restaurants.
“It’s been encouraging to see how Cotswold Taste’s members have been energetically adjusting to the new ‘normal’, however strange it is”, says Nick Waloff, Executive Chair of Cotswold Taste, the region’s leading food and drink quality marque.
